First blog entry

Hi all.

This is my first blog entry ever so i'm mainly just checking how it works and if it's something for me. If all goes well I may maintain this bl
og during my endless weekend (read: career break from Scott Wilson, the company in which I work as Transport Consultant since Oct 2005).

I have now left England and have moved all my stuff back to Sweden. I had a long a terrible journey, first a half days drive to Newcastle, a 24 hour ferry crossing to Stavanger and on top of this, a 12 hour drive across the Scandinavian mountains.

I heard Kenny wanted to buy a TomTom GPS Navigator. Good news, mine is now up for sale. I asked it to guide me from Stavanger (the third biggest city in Norway) via Oslo and home. I know its Norway but for a rich oil country where practically everyone is a millionaire (in NOK), one could expect some decent road between these two cities. Maybe there is but TomTom routed me up in the mountains where you only met one car every 30 minutes, where the bends were sharper than in Sicily and where some of the roads were not even paved. Also there was plenty of snow around. Just before I expected to see St Peter around the corner, I came to a road on the top of the mountains so high up that nothing was growing. There was only snow and a road.

I finally arrived to my home at 3 am in the morning. A few hours later than expected. This TomTom is sooo going to be eBayed now.
